We’re so excited to introduce our new Forest Play Group program! Whether you’ve been eyeing up LVFFS and would like to know more about our program, or you’re just looking to connect with community, we invite you to come play with us! 

Our Forest Play Group is open to all ages and centers around forest-based free play and exploration. Each session will have a similar look and feel to our Friday Farm and Forest Days (offered during the school year). 

From catching frogs to building fires, children get to experience the thrill of survival skills in a safe and supervised environment. We’ll set up mini lessons which could include exploring in the pond, practicing survival skills, and working on traditional skill projects such as gardening, cooking from scratch or over the fire, animal tracking, foraging, basketry, or looming. 

Happening on Thursdays, July 27th, August 10th, and August 24th from 3-5pm. LVFFS campus located at 61 Hemlock Lane, Eden.
